Sheila Lambert has helped many families help loved ones to receive the help they need for their addiction through the process of an intervention, An intervention is a series of meetings with the family or friends of the person who has a substance use problem, The first meeting is with the family members and friends who have been affected by their loved ones use of alcohol or drugs. Sheila will guide the family to begin to develop strategies to prepare to support their loved one. The second session is designed to process emotions, establish positive language and to establish the plan for intervention. Often times the third session includes the client.
